The Australian Animal Atlas

Written by Leonard Cronin, a natural history author who trained as a biologist and illustrated by Marion Westmacott, the Australian Animal Atlas provides information and illustrations on a variety of animals living in different Australian habitats. These habitats include; desert, mangroves, waterways and seashores, forests, tropical wetlands and many more. Each habitat displays an interactive hidden animal’s activity where readers can try to locate the animals shown around the boarder within the appropriate habitat. Contained within this resource is a selection of animal types ranging from mammals to birds and reptiles just to name a few. This atlas offers information on each animal living in a specific habitat including an illustration of the animal along with a brief description on what it looks like, what they eat, the height and weight plus other interesting facts about the animal and its habitat.
